          People often approach me and ask me what I think of another artist's works and typically, I give my opinion.  Mainly because it is just that...an opinion.  To each their own.  For every individual that does not like my work, there is someone that does.  My personal tastes are undeniably obvious as I love the work of Norman Rockwell, DaVinci and Michelangelo...who wouldn't?  Because I do not like to assume anything about these artists, all I can do is admire their works. 

     My favorite artists today are Charles Bibbs, Paul Goodnight, Samuel Akainyah, Carl Owens, Thomas Blackshear, photographer Oscar Matos-Lineras and my favorite, Gerald Griffin.  These artists all bring something different to the table and I have much respect for their abilities.  Because they are still with us, I can inquire as to what goes through their minds as they create and what motivates them.
